Advice with no product to sell you

We do not resell platforms and we do not take vendor commissions, so the recommendation you get is the one we would follow ourselves. Strategy, architecture, and procurement judgment for the systems your organization runs on, delivered by people who have operated them rather than only sold them.

01 Advisory

Where we are useful

Most of this work starts the same way: something is not working, or a decision is due and nobody in the room owns the technical judgment. We come in with the judgment and leave you with a document, not a dependency.

A-01

IT Strategy & Roadmap

Where your technology is, where the business needs it to be, and the sequence of moves between the two. Costed, prioritized, and honest about what can be deferred.

  • Current state assessment and gap analysis
  • Multi-year roadmap with sequencing and cost
  • Technical debt and lifecycle planning
  • Build, buy, or integrate decisions
A-02

Infrastructure & Cloud

Architecture review and migration planning for organizations that have outgrown what they have, or that moved to cloud quickly and are now paying for it.

  • Network, server, and storage architecture
  • Cloud migration and repatriation planning
  • Cost optimization and licensing review
  • Resilience, backup, and recovery design
A-03

Identity, Endpoint & Access

Who can reach what, on which device, and how you would prove it. The control layer that decides how bad an incident gets, designed before the incident.

  • Identity provider and single sign-on design
  • Privileged access and administrative separation
  • Endpoint management and device baselines
  • Logging and retention that supports investigation
A-04

Vendor Evaluation & Procurement

Requirements written so the responses are comparable, demos scored against those requirements, and contract terms reviewed before signature rather than after.

  • Requirements definition and scoring criteria
  • Market scan and shortlist development
  • Proof of concept design and evaluation
  • Contract, SLA, and exit term review
A-05

Business & Sales Advisory

For technology companies selling into government and enterprise: positioning that a technical buyer believes, and a sales motion that survives contact with a procurement office.

  • Go-to-market and positioning for technical products
  • Sales enablement and technical collateral review
  • Capability development and teaming strategy
  • Bid and proposal technical support

02 Engagement

How the work runs

Short, scoped, and finished. If an engagement is drifting toward a permanent retainer that nobody planned for, we will raise it before you do.

  1. 01

    Frame the decision

We establish what actually has to be decided, by when, and by whom. Half of these engagements narrow considerably at this step.

  2. 02

    Gather evidence

Interviews, configuration review, contracts, and cost data. Opinions are useful, but the recommendation gets built on what the systems show.

  3. 03

    Recommend

A written recommendation with the options we rejected and why. You should be able to defend the decision after we leave the room.

  4. 04

    Support execution

Optional. Some clients take the document and run. Others want us alongside the implementation, through migration or vendor selection.

03 Deliverables

What you actually receive

No engagement ends with a slide deck and a handshake.

The assessment

Current state, findings, and risks, written so a non-technical executive and a systems administrator both get what they need.

The recommendation

The proposed path, alternatives considered, cost implications, and the sequence to execute it in.

The working material

Diagrams, requirement matrices, scoring sheets, and inventories, in editable form. They are yours.

Bring the question, the constraints, and the deadline. We will tell you on the first call whether we can help and roughly what it takes.
