07 Focus Area In development

Persistent presence on water you cannot watch

Coastlines, port approaches, and offshore infrastructure need watching continuously, and crewed hulls cannot be everywhere at once. We are developing uncrewed surface vessels with printed hulls, cheap enough to operate in numbers and to send where a crewed platform should not go.

01 Missions

What these vessels are for

Four mission profiles drive the design. Each one is a job currently done by a crewed vessel that costs too much to keep on station, or not done at all.

M-01

Coastal & Port Patrol

Continuous watch on approaches, anchorages, and restricted water. Persistent coverage catches the pattern that a periodic sweep misses.

  • Vessel traffic monitoring and anomaly detection
  • Restricted area and exclusion zone watch
  • Small craft detection in cluttered water
M-02

Offshore Infrastructure Watch

Cables, pipelines, wind farms, and platforms, monitored on a schedule rather than after something has already gone wrong.

  • Subsea cable and pipeline route monitoring
  • Wind farm and platform proximity watch
  • Loitering and interference detection
M-03

Survey & Environmental

Repeatable survey lines run at low cost, which makes change detection over time affordable rather than exceptional.

  • Bathymetric and hydrographic survey
  • Water quality and environmental sampling
  • Post-storm and post-incident assessment
M-04

Communications & Relay

A surface node that extends the reach of everything else on the water, including our own aerial platforms.

  • Over-the-horizon relay for uncrewed systems
  • Sensor data aggregation on station
  • Forward node for distributed operations

02 Vessels

Two hull classes in development

Design targets for the current development articles. These are engineering goals under active test rather than delivered performance, and we will say plainly where each stands.

Uncrewed surface vessel design targets
Class Hull Endurance target Typical role
ND-C Printed monohull, harbor and coastal Multi-day station keeping Port approaches, anchorage watch, inshore survey
ND-O Printed multihull, open water Extended patrol between port calls Offshore infrastructure, long survey lines, relay

Payload bays

Standard interfaces for optical, thermal, radar, acoustic, and RF packages, swapped at the dock without a yard period.

Autonomy

Waypoint and pattern autonomy with collision avoidance, supervised from shore. A human stays in the decision loop for anything consequential.

Command link

Authenticated command and telemetry with defined behavior on link loss, written by our embedded team.

Sustainment

Printed structure means a damaged section is replaced from local stock rather than ordered from a hull builder.

03 Principles

What carries across every platform

The same three commitments govern our satellite and aerial programs.

Additive first

Short build cycles keep the fleet current instead of frozen at the date it was ordered.

Sensor to decision

These are collection assets. What they gather lands in the same command view that runs our cyber work.

Hardened by default

Firmware, command links, and supply chain are treated as attack surface from the first print.

Program status

Program status The maritime program is in active development. We are talking with port authorities, agencies, offshore operators, and integrators about pilot deployments, payload requirements, and the trial water to prove them in.

Bring the area, the sensor question, and the season. We will tell you honestly what the program can support and when.
